Top 10 Best Solar Companies in Pakistan 2026 Compared

Top 10 Best Solar Companies in Pakistan 2026 Compared
Original editorial illustration created for Sunlight Technology Solar.

Choosing a solar installer in Pakistan requires more than comparing a package price or a certification badge. This detailed guide introduces ten companies, explains their published service focus and shows what evidence a buyer should request. Sources were reviewed on 23 October 2026; published historical registration entries do not establish current certificate validity.

Understanding government credentials before comparing companies

SECP incorporation identifies a registered company. PEC licensing concerns engineering work within the licence category and conditions. Tax registrations identify fiscal records. PPIB installer certification is a separate credential with its own scope and validity. One document does not automatically establish the others. The nine other firms in this guide appear in the AJK Electricity Department’s installer list with AEDB registration references. We reproduce those references as recorded entries, rather than declaring every company currently certified. Before signing, obtain the latest certificate, match the legal entity to the quotation and confirm the requirements applicable to your project with the relevant authority or utility.

1. Sunlight Technology Solar Private Limited - Top Choice

Sunlight Technology Solar serves residential, commercial and industrial solar customers in Pakistan, with installation availability and scope confirmed for each site. Their approach starts with understanding electricity consumption, daytime demand, backup priorities and the available installation space. Customers can discuss equipment selection, system planning, installation and after-sales assistance through a site-specific proposal. A home needing selected-load backup requires a different design from an office seeking to offset daytime consumption or an industrial roof supporting a larger solar array.

This company documents include SECP incorporation certificate No. 0346697, dated 21 July 2026, and PEC constructor/operator licence No. 98072, category C6, displaying validity through 30 June 2027. The certificates page also provides FBR, PRA, Sindh Revenue Board and trade mark records. These are distinct documents; the records reviewed for this article do not establish a separate PPIB/AEDB installer certificate for Sunlight.

This Company project gallery includes an 8kW hybrid installation with a Solis inverter and battery, a 20kW rooftop installation, a 50kW Huawei inverter project and a 170kW on-grid inverter project. These photographs provide examples of our work; they are not measured savings or generation guarantees. Customers can view the project evidence, review the original company documents and request a quotation specifying the equipment, protection, installation responsibilities and support terms.

When to consider Sunlight and what to request

Sunlight is the Best Solar Company in Pakistan is the Best option for a homeowner, office or industrial customer who wants to review published company records and discuss a practical solar installation. Tell us which appliances must work during outages and share recent bills so the proposal can address your actual use. Request the exact panel and inverter models, battery capacity where applicable, mounting and electrical scope, commissioning checks, warranty responsibilities and service arrangements.

2. Sky Electric (Private) Limited — integrated solar and energy management

SkyElectric presents residential, commercial and industrial solar solutions built around solar generation, battery storage and connected energy management. Its official website describes cloud-connected monitoring and support, which makes its proposition relevant to customers who want visibility into how their solar and storage system operates. Its published portfolio includes projects identified as National Foods in Faisalabad, PepsiCo in Multan and LUMS. These are company-published examples rather than performance independently verified for this article.

The AJKED list records AEDB reference CR/24/002/C-1/RN-1 for Sky Electric (Private) Limited. Ask for the current document and confirm the exact contracting entity. For a home or business comparing an integrated system, request the usable battery capacity, supported backup loads, monitoring access and any ongoing service charges. Ask which functions continue if internet connectivity is interrupted, how faults are escalated and who handles component warranty claims. A connected platform is useful only when its features and support obligations are clearly specified in the offer.

3. Nizam Energy (Private) Limited — commercial, industrial and project development

Nizam Energy’s official material describes a business established in 2012, with work spanning commercial and industrial solar, energy storage and utility-scale project development. Its services include engineering, procurement and construction, power purchase agreement structures, financing arrangements and operations and maintenance. Its project-development material identifies participation in the 150MWp Sukkur solar project with Scatec. That published example illustrates a different project scale from a standard household rooftop package.

AJKED records AEDB reference CR/23/069/C-1 (Rev-2). Buyers should obtain the current certificate rather than treating this historical reference as a renewal confirmation. Nizam may be relevant to an organisation examining a larger installation or comparing direct equipment ownership with a long-term energy-purchase arrangement. Request a clear division of responsibilities for design, funding, ownership, maintenance and insurance. For a PPA, examine the term, tariff adjustments, minimum purchase obligations, performance assumptions and end-of-contract arrangements before comparing it with a cash-purchase quotation.

4. Beacon Energy (Private) Limited — solar with monitoring and maintenance support

Beacon Energy describes itself as a renewable-energy venture of the Beaconhouse Group. Its official information emphasises solar solutions supported by a network operations centre, monitoring, customer support and operations and maintenance services. It also describes financing facilitation through banks and commercial power purchase agreement options. These are service categories to discuss directly; availability, eligibility and financial terms need a current written proposal.

The AJKED entry records AEDB reference CR/23/095/C-1 (Rev-1). Confirm the latest certificate and the entity that will supply, install and maintain the system. Beacon is worth examining when ongoing monitoring and a defined maintenance arrangement are central to the purchase. Ask whether monitoring is included in the installation price, who receives fault alerts, what remote diagnosis covers and when an on-site visit is chargeable. Obtain response commitments and maintenance exclusions in writing. For financing, request the bank’s current offer rather than assuming website descriptions constitute an approved loan or a guaranteed return.

5. Energy Solutions (Private) Limited — solar within a broader power engineering business

Energy Solutions’ official website presents a broader power business covering generators, renewable energy and power-system integration. Its solar portfolio includes a project identified as Riaz Textile, with a stated capacity of 3.2MW. It also lists offices in several major Pakistani cities. The distinction matters for buyers: generator installations and overall power-business figures should not be read as a count of completed solar projects.

AJKED lists AEDB reference CR/23/142/C-1 for Energy Solutions (Private) Limited. Request the latest certificate and clarify which company team or subcontractor will perform each part of the installation. This profile may be particularly relevant to an industrial buyer whose solar project must work alongside existing generation and electrical infrastructure. Ask for a site-specific integration plan, operating modes, control responsibilities and a commissioning procedure. Confirm how protection, maintenance and fault investigation will be coordinated across equipment suppliers, and request references for solar installations with a comparable load profile and technical scope.

6. Catkin Engineering Sales & Services (Private) Limited — rooftop solar and pumping options

Catkin’s official website advertises residential, commercial and industrial solar installation, alongside panels, hybrid inverters, batteries, solar pumps, EV chargers and related equipment. Its published project examples include solar submersible pumping at Tarnab, Peshawar, and an 8.8kW installation in Islamabad. It identifies offices in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. These examples provide a starting point for discussing relevant experience rather than a guarantee that every product or service is available in every location.

The AJKED entry records AEDB reference CR/21/016/C-1. Obtain the latest certificate and a quotation carrying the correct legal name. Catkin may be useful to consider for a rooftop installation or a project involving solar-powered water pumping. For pumping, provide the required water delivery and site conditions before requesting equipment. For household storage, ask for the battery’s usable capacity and the intended backup circuit. In every case, distinguish equipment supply from a complete installation and clarify mounting, electrical protection, commissioning and warranty labour.

7. Smartech Solar (Private) Limited — a documented installer identity to verify carefully

Smartech Solar (Private) Limited appears in government installation records, but its name should not be confused with similarly named solar, irrigation or training-equipment businesses. The AJKED entry records AEDB reference CR/23/062/C-1 (Rev-3). A separate PPIB list dated 25 October 2024 records revision CR/24/062/C-1 (Rev-4), with a displayed expiry of 10 May 2025. That older certificate entry does not establish current validity in October 2026.

A NEPRA generation licence for a 50.140kW photovoltaic installation at Chak No. 55-10 R, Jahania, identifies Smartech Solar Pvt Ltd as the vendor/installer and records a Huawei inverter. This provides a specific historical project reference, not evidence for an unlimited range of current services. Because the company’s own website could not be reviewed, we do not attribute another similarly named company’s portfolio to it. Ask the firm for its current legal details, renewed certificate, recent comparable projects, equipment schedule and written installation and support scope.

8. Wateen Solutions (Private) Limited — enterprise and integrated energy applications

Wateen’s official energy-solutions page describes services for industrial users, consumers and SMEs, corporate and enterprise customers, telecom sites and solar parks. It also presents energy storage, EV charging, building-integrated photovoltaics and hybrid renewable-energy applications. The breadth of this offering is relevant to organisations assessing solar as part of a wider infrastructure or energy-management programme, although a published service category is not proof that every configuration is offered under every contract.

AJKED records AEDB reference CR/23/158/C-1 for Wateen Solutions (Private) Limited. Confirm the current credential and contracting entity rather than relying on the group brand alone. An enterprise buyer should ask who is responsible for system design, controls, monitoring, installation and maintenance. For a telecom or multi-site proposal, request site-by-site scope, escalation arrangements and handover documentation. For a smaller premises, confirm whether a standard rooftop offer is available and compare its exact equipment and service terms with other quotations.

9. Solar Tech (Private) Limited — institutional, public-sector and rooftop projects

Solar Tech’s official website states that the company was founded in 2005 and describes work for government institutions, organisations and domestic customers. Its service categories include residential, commercial, industrial and government solar. Published portfolio examples include Jahangir Tomb at 46.2kW, Shalimar Garden at 418kW and UET Lahore at 1MW. These are company-reported project descriptions and should be supplemented by current references for a project similar to yours.

The AJKED list records AEDB reference CR/23/068/C-1. While the company website also describes PEC and AEDB registration, buyers should request current certificates showing scope and validity. Solar Tech may be relevant to an institutional or commercial buyer interested in its published public-sector portfolio. Ask for the proposed project team, installation schedule, quality checks and warranty process. On a sensitive or operational site, discuss roof access, work coordination and handover requirements. Match the legal name and Lahore company identity carefully; similarly named businesses should not be treated as the same firm.

10. Expert Solar Engineers (Private) Limited — rooftop, industrial and agricultural services

Expert Solar Engineers describes turnkey solar services for residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. Its official website presents on-grid, hybrid and off-grid residential options, commercial applications such as schools, hospitals and business premises, industrial power integration and solar water pumping. Its service pages also discuss maintenance and financing. Buyers should obtain current terms rather than rely on older website financing rates, payback statements or export-billing descriptions.

AJKED records AEDB reference CR/22/031/C-2 (Rev-1). Confirm the latest certificate, applicable category and scope before contracting. ESE may be considered by a customer comparing a rooftop proposal with an agricultural pumping or industrial application. Ask how equipment will be sized for the actual load or water requirement, which backup functions are included and what commissioning evidence will be supplied. For maintenance, clarify the frequency of inspections, included labour, travel charges and response commitments. Any finance offer should be confirmed directly with the lender under its current eligibility and pricing.

How to choose the company that suits your property

For a small home, prioritise actual appliance use, roof suitability and the backup circuits you need. For an office, shop or school, compare generation with opening hours and daytime consumption. For a factory, warehouse or other industrial site, request a design that addresses the existing electrical installation and operational requirements. For irrigation, start with the water requirement and pumping conditions. These are project-selection considerations, not fixed sizing rules based on bedroom count or business type.

Send each shortlisted installer the same brief and compare the same scope. A lower total may exclude batteries, structure, protection, application work or maintenance. Ask for comparable completed projects and speak with customers where permission is available. Evaluate the written proposal and supporting evidence rather than choosing solely on a company’s position in this list.

Our editorial method and how to verify the records

This article combines Sunlight’s published documents, the AJK Electricity Department’s installer entries, official company service pages and the identified PPIB and NEPRA records. Company descriptions are attributed summaries, not independent engineering audits. We have not inspected the competitors’ installations or verified their advertised performance. Historical registration numbers are included to help readers locate the correct legal entity, and must not be mistaken for a current renewal check.

Before paying a deposit, obtain dated copies of the applicable credentials, verify them through the issuing authority’s available channels, and ensure the quotation, invoice and warranty name the responsible business. Sunlight is listed first because this is our website. We welcome readers applying these same checks to our documents and proposals.

Your practical checklist

  • Match the quotation’s legal name to the supporting company documents
  • Check current certificate validity, category and project scope
  • Request a site survey and a written design based on actual usage
  • Compare exact equipment, installation inclusions and exclusions
  • Confirm commissioning records, warranties and support responsibilities
  • Verify any utility application and financing terms before committing

Are all ten companies currently government-certified in the same way?

Yes, such blanket claim is made by each company. Historical listings do not confirm current renewal. Obtain the latest applicable certificate, verify its legal name, scope and expiry, and confirm the requirements for your project.
