Initial review
Discuss the existing connection, proposed solar system and available customer and project information.
Grid-Connection Assistance · Understand the application journey

Discuss the existing connection, proposed solar system and available customer and project information.
Confirm the assistance included, required records and responsibilities for any further steps requested by the utility.
Keep application references, approved documents and relevant installation records together for future use.
Understand the choices
Application rules and documentary requirements can change. Confirm the applicable process with the electricity provider and project team.
Submission does not guarantee approval, export eligibility or a particular billing arrangement.
Clarify which installation or connection steps depend on utility review before agreeing timelines.
Prepare for a useful conversation
Share the information relevant to your site so the team can discuss the assessment and next steps. Confirm any additional records needed for the final proposal.
What to expect
A defined assistance scope, clear responsibility boundaries and organised application records.

Sunlight Technology Solar · Service in detail
Sunlight Technology Solar discusses grid-connection assistance as a project-specific coordination service. The starting point is your location, electricity connection, proposed configuration and the relevant utility or authority requirements. Requirements and settlement arrangements can change, so a proposal should identify the current process rather than repeat an old export-rate or payback assumption.
Customers may need to provide connection records, identification or ownership-related documents through the appropriate official process. We clarify the documents relevant to the agreed scope and the party responsible for preparing, reviewing and submitting each item. Where a credentialed installer or specialist sign-off is required, confirm the responsible entity and current certificate before proceeding.
Sunlight’s PEC, incorporation and tax documents are available for review, but those records should not be presented as a separate PPIB installer certificate. Approval, metering work and processing times remain subject to the responsible authority. Our quotation should distinguish installation work from application assistance, official charges, utility work and any other exclusions.
From first contact to follow-up

Before you get started
No. Utility review, requirements and scheduling are outside the installer’s control. Discuss the current process before committing to a project timeline.
The required records depend on the applicable utility process and connection. Ask for a current checklist for your project rather than relying on a generic list.
No rate is promised here. Export and billing terms are determined by the applicable utility arrangements and current requirements.
