Backup assessment
List essential loads, operating hours, starting demand and the charging opportunities available at the property.
Solar Battery Installation · Storage with a clear purpose
Start with the appliances you need and the time you want them to operate. Battery installation needs a compatible inverter, suitable location and a clear understanding of usable storage and system limits.

A clear scope before you commit
Start with your requirements, review the proposal and confirm the work in writing. The final scope is agreed for your property and equipment.
List essential loads, operating hours, starting demand and the charging opportunities available at the property.
Compare usable capacity, power limits, battery chemistry, supported communications and manufacturer compatibility requirements.
Agree placement, protection, isolation, cabling, operating settings and guidance for monitoring and service.
Understand the choices
Storage capacity and supported output are different. Both must suit the appliances and expected usage.
Confirm the exact battery and inverter models, supported firmware or communications, and permitted expansion arrangements.
Location, ventilation, temperature limits and clearances must follow the selected equipment requirements.
Prepare for a useful conversation
Share the information relevant to your site so the team can discuss the assessment and next steps. Confirm any additional records needed for the final proposal.
What to expect
A storage proposal with stated backup loads, compatible equipment, usable-capacity assumptions and installation responsibilities.
Confirm equipment models where relevant, included work, exclusions, site preparation, schedule, commissioning and support responsibilities. Any price or performance estimate should state its assumptions.
Review our published company credentials, installation portfolio and warranty and support guidance.
Sunlight Technology Solar · Service in detail
Sunlight Technology Solar starts a battery discussion with the appliances you want to support and how long you expect to use them. A battery capacity figure is only one part of the assessment. Usable energy, discharge limits, inverter power, appliance starting demand and operating reserve all affect the practical backup arrangement.
Battery selection must be compatible with the inverter and the intended communications and control settings. We discuss a suitable installation location, environmental requirements, access and electrical protection in line with the chosen equipment. Mixing models or expanding an existing battery bank requires confirmation of the manufacturer’s supported configuration rather than an assumption that any additional battery will work.
The written proposal should identify the battery model, rated and usable energy where available, supported loads and installation scope. Warranty conditions may depend on operating settings, throughput or other manufacturer terms, which should be reviewed before purchase. At handover, ask about reserve settings, fault indicators, maintenance instructions and the route for after-sales assistance.
From first contact to follow-up
Share your location, property details and the service you need. Tell us about existing equipment and your priorities.
Review the site and available records. Identify the information and checks needed before a recommendation.
Compare the proposed equipment or service scope, inclusions, exclusions, schedule and written terms.
Coordinate the agreed work, retain the relevant records and understand the route for after-sales assistance.
Before you get started
Duration depends on actual loads, usable storage, discharge limits and operating settings. An assessment is needed for a meaningful estimate.
No. Some systems need compatible hybrid equipment or a revised design. Check the existing installation before purchasing storage.
Expansion depends on the battery system, manufacturer requirements, age and condition of existing equipment. Confirm the proposed expansion path in advance.
