We estimate solar panel capacity from your electricity units, usage period and the displayed solar assumptions. We then calculate how many 645W panels are needed. The headline rounds their combined capacity to a whole kW for a simpler starting recommendation. For hybrid systems using the 5kWh-class battery, Sunlight adds two extra 645W panels per battery to the electricity-use panel count. Battery type is chosen from the base electricity-use solar recommendation before adding charging panels. The displayed system size remains the base electricity-use recommendation; only the panel count includes the extra charging panels. Actual panel DC capacity may exceed that base recommendation, so the final inverter PV limits must be checked. This is a planning allowance, not an energy-balance simulation or a guarantee of full daily recharge. Monthly units may already include battery-backed consumption, so this allowance can add reserve rather than new consumption. A site assessment must check daytime loads, solar yield, charging power and inverter PV limits. The final inverter, panel layout and installation must be confirmed for your property.
