Compatibility review
Confirm the inverter model, monitoring hardware, communications and the functions available for the proposed arrangement.
Solar System Monitoring · See how your system operates
Understand the operating information available from your compatible inverter and monitoring equipment. Review trends, recognise communication gaps and know what details to share when asking for assistance.

A clear scope before you commit
Start with your requirements, review the proposal and confirm the work in writing. The final scope is agreed for your property and equipment.
Confirm the inverter model, monitoring hardware, communications and the functions available for the proposed arrangement.
Discuss connectivity, account access and how the owner can review generation and operating information.
Explain which alerts and records to share and what monitoring or follow-up is included in the agreed service.
Understand the choices
Monitoring depends on compatible equipment and communications. A missing update does not, by itself, prove generation has stopped.
Compare similar periods with weather, shading, load changes and equipment conditions in mind.
Keep account recovery details with the owner. Share access through supported account controls instead of sending passwords.
Prepare for a useful conversation
Share the information relevant to your site so the team can discuss the assessment and next steps. Confirm any additional records needed for the final proposal.
What to expect
A clear understanding of available monitoring functions, owner access and the agreed support route.
Confirm equipment models where relevant, included work, exclusions, site preparation, schedule, commissioning and support responsibilities. Any price or performance estimate should state its assumptions.
Review our published company credentials, installation portfolio and warranty and support guidance.
Sunlight Technology Solar · Service in detail
Sunlight Technology Solar helps customers discuss monitoring that is compatible with the selected inverter or system platform. The first step is to establish which readings are available: generation, consumption, grid exchange and battery information depend on the installed equipment and any additional meters or sensors. We do not describe every installation as having the same monitoring capability.
During setup or handover, ask how to access your account, interpret common readings and recognise an alert that needs attention. Internet connectivity, platform availability and data permissions can affect the experience. The proposal should say who provides the platform and whether account setup, communications equipment or ongoing monitoring assistance is included.
Monitoring can help identify patterns and support fault investigation, but a dashboard is not a replacement for physical inspection or a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. If proactive review or fault response is required, agree the monitoring responsibility, service hours and escalation route explicitly. We do not imply a proprietary Sunlight platform or round-the-clock supervision where those services have not been agreed.
From first contact to follow-up
Share your location, property details and the service you need. Tell us about existing equipment and your priorities.
Review the site and available records. Identify the information and checks needed before a recommendation.
Compare the proposed equipment or service scope, inclusions, exclusions, schedule and written terms.
Coordinate the agreed work, retain the relevant records and understand the route for after-sales assistance.
Before you get started
Only if a separate arrangement explicitly includes it. Confirm monitoring responsibilities, response hours and follow-up terms in writing.
Possible causes include connectivity, communication hardware or account issues. Share the model and observed behaviour with the support team for assessment.
Available measurements depend on the selected inverter, sensors, battery communications and platform. Confirm the relevant functions before purchase.
